It will be celebrated from September 25-30 on continental Europe for the second time in its history.

The golf course, Le Golf National de France will host this biennial match on its wonderful course: L’Albatros.

Located some 20 km south-west of Paris, this spectacular course is one of the best in the world for spectators and is always in the top ten of best golf courses in Europe.

After recent remodelling, the course will be a real test of skill for both teams, with slick greens, extensive rolling paths and several bunkers in play. The exquisite final four holes surrounded by water hazards are the finishing touch.

Remember that the Ryder Cup, celebrated every two years since 1927, brings the best golfers in the United States and Europe into competition.

Teams of 12 members play each other until Saturday and then there are individual games on Sunday.

It is a particularly attractive championship for its followers and the televised audience surpasses that of the famous American Superbowl (110 million), with more than 400 million viewers.

Last year saw one of the most disputed Ryder Cups, with the coveted cup finally won by the United States.
